Neely W. Howell

Neely Wayne Howell, 65, Depauw, died Monday, July 23, at his home.
A native of Dyersburg, Tenn., he was the son of Margaret H. Royse of Louisville and the late George Howell.
He was an installer for ADT Security Systems in Louisville, a peacetime Navy veteran and a member of Grace Assembly of God Church in Palmyra.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, the former Helen M. Clark; two sons, Mark Embry of Depauw and Kevin Embry of Mitchell; five daughters, Debbie L. Burnett and Linda Kinder, both of Louisville, Laura Franko of Modesto, Calif., Darlene Hudson of Kansas City, Mo., and Debbie Howard of Ramsey; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 25, from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, July 24, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Grace Assembly of God Church with burial in Hancock Chapel Cemetery in Depauw. The Rev. Murl Stewart will officiate.
