Shirley M. Ruble, 56, Vincennes, died Monday, July 16, at 10:35 a.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
A native of Salem, born July 18, 1944, she was the daughter of Vivian June Lee Mott of Enid, Okla., and the late John Merl Mott.
She was a homemaker and a member of Palmyra Presbyterian Church. She attended Indiana Presbyterian Church and First Christian Church.
Survivors besides her mother include her husband, Charles Ruble; a daughter, Valerie Brothers of Vincennes; four brothers, Bill, Bob, George and Jerome Mott, all of Depauw; three sisters, Susie Plunkett of Palmyra, Vicki Engleman of Corydon and Jennie Wright of New Salisbury; and two granddaughters.
The funeral was Thursday, July 19, at Goodwin Family Funeral Home in Vincennes with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Revs. Jay T. Silence and Tony Ruble officiated.
