George R. (Hub) McKim, 64, Corydon, died Tuesday, July 17, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of New Albany, born Feb. 22, 1937, he was the son of the late Virgil and Ruby McKim.
He was employed as a patient transporter at Blue River Services in Corydon, a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in New Salisbury and was an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include two sons, Michael George McKim of Arizona City, Ariz., and David G. McKim of Corydon; two daughters, Charlotte Anne Taylor of Tucson, Ariz., and Margaret Kathleen McKim of Phoenix; three brothers, Ellsworth and Riley McKim, both of New Albany, and Elmer McKim of New Washington, and three grandchildren.
A graveside service was Thursday, July 19, at the Central Cemetery. The Rev. Glen Jordan officiated. Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon handled the arrangements.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Lung Association or McKim’s church.
