Donald L. Timberlake
Donald L. Timberlake, 67, Corydon, died Thursday, July 12, at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was a retired Farm Bureau Insurance agent in Corydon and an employee of O’Bannon Publishing Co. Inc.
He was a member of the Corydon Christian Church, Corydon Lions Club, Corydon Sportsman’s Club, Fraternal Order of the Eagles, American Legion Post 123 and an Army veteran.
He was a former Harrison County chairman of the Young Republicans.
Survivors include his wife, the former Gynith Hamilton; a son, Donald L. Timberlake II of Corydon; a daughter, Bridget Eilers of New Albany; a brother, Phillip Timberlake of Lanesville; and two grandchildren.
The funeral was Sunday, July 15, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Neal Kentch officiated.
Pallbearers were Paul Timberlake II, Forrest Timberlake Jr., Craig, Steve and Dick Timberlake, Chris Blank, and Curtis and Marty Hamilton.
Honorary pallbearers were Roger Ashton, Charles Clunie, Walter Saulman, Danny Riddle, Steve Priest, Curtis Eskew, Ron Simpson, Tom Conway, Charles Fawver, Roger Royse, Denny Huber and Don Sieg.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Corydon Christian Church or the Crusade for Children.
