Juanita Hammond

Juanita Hammond, 80, Milltown, died Tuesday, July 10, at 12:25 a.m. at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
A native of Curby, born Jan. 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Lura Jenkins Seaton.
She formerly owned Hammonds Grocery and was a member of Milltown United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Hammond, a sister, Mary Lou Willings, and a brother, Loren Seaton.
Survivors include a son, John Hammond of Milltown; a daughter, Judy Skinner of Milltown; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Thursday, July 12, at Milltown United Methodist Church with burial in Milltown Cemetery. Pastor Debbie Payne officiated. Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home in Milltown handled the arrangements.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Southern Indiana Hospice.
