James F. Shartzer

James F. Shartzer, 80, Lanesville, formerly of Louisville, died Saturday, July 7, in Clarksville.
A native of Leitchfield, Ky., born April 4, 1921, he was the son of the late Robert and Alda Litsey Shartzer.
He was a retired employee of Wittenberg Construction Co. and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, the former Pauline Birch; a daughter, Pamela Shartzer of Clarksville; and a sister, Hallie Joseph of Louisville.
The funeral will be Wednesday, July 11, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Leitchfield. The Rev. Marvin Richardson officiated.
