Dorothy Parker

Dorothy A. Parker, 79, Corydon, died Saturday, July 7, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Milltown, born Jan. 3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Martin C. and Elizabeth Hilgert Hoffman. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis S. Parker.
Survivors include three sons, Russell L. Parker of Laconia, Darrell L. Parker of New Salisbury and Stephen M. Parker of Lafayette; two daughters, Judy A. Trusty of English and Janet M. Morrow of Las Vegas; a sister, Catherine Maymon of New Albany; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Monday, July 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Father Ken Gehring officiated. The Resurrection Choir provided the music.
Pallbearers were Michael and William Parker, Jerry Goldman, Aaron Allinger, Mike Trusty and Joe Maymon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church.
