David D. Cissell Sr.

David D. (Doodle) Cissell Sr., 60, Ramsey, died Wednesday, July 4, at his home.
A native of Louisville, he was the son of Dorothy Jane Cissell of Leavenworth and the late James R. Cissell. He owned the old Cissell Auto Salvage in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James R. and Alfred Cissell.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, the former Pat Stetser; four sons, David Jr. and Robert L. Cissell, both of Louisville, and Robert L. and Steven R. Cissell, both of Ramsey; two daughters, Sheena Prestigicomo and Loretta Thompson, both of Louisville; seven brothers, Tommy A., Paul H., Daniel R., Albert L. and Stanley Sr. Cissell, all of Louisville, Perry R. Cissell of Glasgow, Ky., and George W. Cissell of Salyersville, Ky.; four sisters, Fannie Spalding of Leavenworth, Betty J. Reece of Louisville, Shirley R. Ashley of Plymouth, Fla., and Lauverne McCormick of Battle Creek, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday, July 7, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery. Dr. Paul Powell officiated.
Pallbearers were David Jr., Robert, Steven and James Cissell, Loretta Thompson and Sheena Prestigicomo.
