Clyde Dean, 60, Floyds Knobs, died Wednesday, July 4, at 6:26 p.m. at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Marengo, born April 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Hershel and Helen Hutslar Dean.
He retired from Caterpillar Inc. in Illinois, and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Marengo.
Survivors include his wife, the former Earlene Leidolf of Floyds Knobs; two sons, Jeff Dean of Jeffersonville and Tony Dean of Eagle River, Alaska; a daughter, Devona Dean of Jeffersonville; three stepdaughters, Denise Lawson of Greenville, Teresa Banet of Georgetown and Karen Whitaker of Greenville; two sisters, Diana Enlow of Georgetown and Sue Parks of Paoli; and two grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday, July 7, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in El Bethel Cemetery in Carefree.
