Steve M. Roy

Steve M. Roy, 54, Georgetown, died Wednesday, June 27, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Columbia, Ky., born Feb. 8, 1947, he was the son of the late Charlie H. and Annie H. Sneed Roy.
He was a shipping/receiving supervisor for Carman Industries, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam war and a member of American Legion Sellersburg Post, National Rifle Association and Freedom Church in Columbia.
Survivors include his wife, the former Vickie Sue Brim; three sons, Steven M. Roy of Jeffersonville, Alan L. Brim of New Albany and Gary A. Brim of Clarksville; a daughter, Katrina L. Lamb of Clarksville; a sister, Judy E. Shepherd of Sellersburg; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday, June 30, at Freedom Church with burial in Freedom Cemetery. Coots Funeral Home in Jeffersonville handled the arrangements.
