I hope that the Election Board will consider moving some of the Harrison Township precincts away from the Government Center to other locations. It was a traffic nightmare last election and the Sheriff and several of his deputies had to come and direct traffic. There is not enough parking there for so many voters. Had it not been for the Sheriff, the situation would have been worse. It is impossible to know how many people could not find parking and went home. I am afraid they are going to have the same problem in Jackson, Franklin, and Morgan townships.

I am also concerned about the uses of schools if students are there. In addition to parking issues, there are security issues. Since the Newtown shooting, schools have implemented new security measures, including limiting entrances and locking doors to monitor those entering and leaving. Now, we are going to give potential mass shooters an open door into the schools? These are issues that need to be addressed. Otherwise we could have chaos or even tragedy at the polls.
