It's not really about making an easier commute. The commissioners are responcible for enabling growth and expanding the tax base. Having an interstate exit 13 miles from Louisville dump out onto a 1-1/2 lane road does not make economic sense. State Street in NA exploded with new growth once they finally put in an exit; that equals tax dollars. Alternate 4 looks nice and straight and disturbs fewer homes.
