The posted picture of Roy depics him perfectly. Laughter and cutting up with those around him were two of his favorite things. If he could tell you a funny story of his life adventures or a joke to make you smile, he was in his element. He was known on sight by most of the Corydon community and he will be sadly missed.

Not sure if I've known a harder working individual. Shorty was a blast to be around all my life! Always happy go lucky. You count on him if you ever were in a jam. Didn't see him as often as life moved on. But, I have vivid memories of earlier times with my family. We all have shared lots of laughs and stories together, some were at his expense; but no matter, he forgave us and laughed with us. He will be missed by so many. Rest well Roy.

    Roy Huffman and Keller Manufacturing

I left Corydon almost 35 years ago but read the on line Corydon Democrat every week. When I saw the picture of Roy I recognized him immediately from the time I worked at Keller Manufacturing. If my memory is correct, he and I worked in the "Rough Mill" where the whole logs were initially cut, stacked and then kiln dried. It was hard, fast and dangerous work. He and I worked on the same team off loading the planks and stacking. He worked very quickly and was hard to keep up with. He had never met me before but he treated me well and kept an eye out in case I was careless or inattentive. It was a long time ago. He was a good person and I appreciated the time he gave to me. Roy was a good teacher. Peace to you and your family Roy.

I will miss seeing Roy walking around town. He was a fixture in Corydon for the last 50 years. A truly good man. Roy would have given you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be missed.
