    The best mail carrier
    November 14, 2013 | 08:01 AM

We will sadly miss Denise who was so sweet and kind. She took such good care of us with our mail delivery. I used to give her my homemade cookies and brownies and Denise would always give me a thank you note the next day! All the neighbors in Asbury Park knew Denise and our heartfelt condolences go to her family. We always knew when Denise's husband was home because Denise would do her route as quickly as possible to get home early for him! We used to kid her whenever she was early and say "Your husband's home!"

Denise was the sweetest lady I know, I had the pleasure of getting to train her when she came into the postal service back in the mid 90 to the Middletown branch and then we made regular carriers and I had the pleasure of working with her as a carrier in Lyndon for 11 years. There is no other lady like her! Denise will be greatly missed by all who knew her. My heart goes out to her family her husband and her two daughters and grand children. Many prayers go out to her family!!

    A real Angel
    November 14, 2013 | 08:37 AM

I worked with Denise off and on for about twenty years at the Lyndon Post Office. I retired 13 months ago, but Denise was one of those people one does not forget. She always was smiling or ready to smile and laugh. She never had a bad word to say about anybody. She always was willing to listen to whoever talked to her. And I must say that she was likely the most beloved person on the workroom floor in the Lyndon Post Office. Everybody I have spoken to has taken her passing away very hard. I think it will be a long time before the Lyndon carriers get past this one. But they can take hart in knowing they now have an angel watching over them. My prayers go out to her husband and children and grandchildren. And may they always remember that they now have their own personal angel watching over them. Denise, Godspeed. May The Lord wrap you in his arms and hold you forever. MIchael Guinn, Louisville, Ky 40223

    My Loving Baby Sis
    November 21, 2013 | 10:36 PM

I can't begin to tell you sis how much I miss you. Your life was taken much to soon and I will never understand why, but I guess it's not for me to question God's plan. Nothing will ever be the same for this family without you here. The love you have for your family couldn't be measured or compared to anything, because it was limitless. I keep asking God how can I move on without my lil' sis because I can't do it on my own. You always put your family first and never had time for yourself. You were such a hard worker and loved your job and the customers on your route. You not only impacted this family but your customers on your route have come to love & miss you like family. They have wrote such kind thoughts and words about you. Not everyone can impact a person's life except a person like you. Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing you has been given a blessing. I would of never thought a year after losing our Mom that I would lose you too! I will always be there for your kids and grandsons if & when they need me, moving on for them is going to be tough. The road ahead of them will be a long one trying to pick up the pieces without you here. You raised them to be strong women with your drive for success so I am sure in time they will search inside and realize you are always with them because you are a part of them and will still be guiding them in the right direction. I know you are resting in the arms of our Lord and are with Mom & Dad again. Please give Mom & Dad a big hug and kiss from me. Until our reunion in Heaven always know I love & miss you "shorty." Remembering your smile & laughter always! Love, "meanie"

We shared so much laughter & tears together. You loved your family deeply and I know they will miss you.No more pain or sorrow just sitting at the feet of Jesus. We will all be together again one day. Until then I will enjoy the memories we made together through out our lives as sisters together. Love you.
