Willliam D. Hancock

William D. Hancock, 55, Pekin, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013.

Born in Mesa, Ariz., he was the son of Vona Edwardson.

He was a Navy veteran, a paralegal and a member of Iron Horsemen motorcycle club.

Survivors besides his mother include two brothers, Dan and Tim; a sister, Susan Briskey; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation: Thursday, Sept. 26, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.

Funeral: Friday, Sept. 27, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Palmyra Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial gifts to the family.
