Bruce A. Day
Bruce A. Day, 69, Elizabeth, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Aug. 26, 1943, in New Albany, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Day.
He was a dedicated Ford employee for 35 years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clarolyn Day, and a brother, Gary Day.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Day of Louisville and David Day of Elizabeth; two daughters, Marsha Harl of Elizabeth and Donna Springstun of Scottsburg; a brother, Sam Day of Elizabeth; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 11, from 1 to 8 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road, New Albany.
Funeral: Friday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
