Richard T. Martin

Richard T. Martin, 83, Niles, Ill., formerly of Louisville, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012.

Born Dec. 7, 1928, in Monon, he was the son of the late Ormon and Elizabeth Martin.

He was an English professor working for military intelligence during the Korean War.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jacklin Surbaugh.

Survivors include a brother, Donald Martin.

Graveside service: Thursday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at Woods Chapel Cemetery near Ramsey.
