Dr. Dean Yaussy

Died: Tuesday, July 30, 2002
Dr. Dean J. Yaussy, 41, Fort Gibson, Okla., died Tuesday, July 30, in Tulsa, Okla.

A native of Jeromesville, Ohio, born May 11, 1961, he was the son of the Rev. Richard and Erma Yoder Yaussy of Newton, N.C.

He graduated from high school in Ontario, Ohio, and from Bluffton College and the University of Cincinnati Medical School. He was a family practice physician at W. W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, Okla.

Survivors besides his parents include his wife, the former Sherri Jacobi, formerly of Palmyra; two sons, Evan Christopher and Tyler Jacob Yaussy, both at home; and two brothers, Dr. Kenneth Yaussy of Newton, N.C., and attorney David Yaussy of Charleston, W.Va.

Funeral: Saturday, Aug. 3, at First United Methodist Church in Tahlequah.

Officiant: The Rev. Travis Hopper.

Arrangements: Millsap Funeral Service at Fort Gibson.

The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Kidney Fund Inc., 6110 Executive Blvd., Rockville, MD 20852 or to First United Methodist Church, at P.O. Box 370, Fort Gibson, OK 74434.
