It's clear that the county spends more money than is collected in taxes that doesn't include the riverboat. This year is no different than any other in just how funds are being shifted. As someone who voted for the boat I hope we are using the money to invest in our community. I'm not sure why this council and this author are trying to convince us otherwise but they are being disingenuous.
