Connector Road
November 29, 2013 | 01:38 PM

It's a shame the Commissioners have decided to not use the proposed Alternate Route #3 for the Connector Road. Just to go with Alternate #4 in order to "Do Something" at over $3,000,000.00 in additional cost v/s doing something (Alt. #3) much better at a much lower cost doesn't seem a responsible pursuit.

Alternate #3 has been deemed the best route for future development, safety of traffic flow, and cost of construction for 20 years or more since it was first introduced to the Commissioners by the Plan Commission.

I know personally the Commissioner's job is very demanding and they recieve lots of criticism no matter what they decide but I would hope they'd reconsider this decision and move to Alternate #3 to make the best improvement possible.
