The Indiana high school all-state boys basketball team was released last Wednesday with three Harrison County athletes recognized.
Named high honorable mention was Corydon Central junior Bronson Kessinger. Picking up honorable mention nods was Corydon Central senior Brayden Lander and North Harrison senior Cory Smith.
The following were named 1st Team All-state: Trey Lyles (Indianapolis Tech), Trevon Bluiett (Indianapolis Park Tudor), James Blackmon Jr. (Marion), Bryant McIntosh (Greensburg) and Sean Sellers (Greensburg). Second-team members were: Tyler Wideman (Lake Central), P.J. Thompson (Indianapolis Brebeuf), Zach McRoberts (Carmel), Jeremie Tyler (Indianapolis Tech) and Jacob Johnson (Mooresville). Those named to the third team were Ernie Duncan (Evansville Harrison), Caleb Swanigan (Homestead), Mack Mercer (Plymouth), Grant Evans (Wapahani) and Davon Dillard (Bowman Academy).
Other players within the Mid-Southern Conference honored include: high honorable mention — Chaz Schneider (Brownstown Central), Calvin McEwen (Clarksville) and Andrew Jones (Clarksville); honorable mention – Christian Reed (Silver Creek) and Gabe Bauer (Silver Creek).
