Corydon Central's doubles team of Nick Keith and Jeremy Buess bowed out of the state tennis tournament Saturday.
Drawing a bye at the Bedford North Lawrence Regional, Keith and Buess waited to see who they would play. Greensburg's Kyle Colson and Tom Lawrence knocked off previously undefeated Drake Davenport and Griffin Motz from North Posey, 7-5, 6-2.
In the championship, the Greensburg duo carried the momentum over and defeated Keith and Buess 6-2, 6-0. The Corydon Central senior pair finished the season with a 9-3 record playing at No. 1 doubles.
Colson and Lawrence improved to 14-5, including 6-0 in the postseason.
Due to the weather, the regional was moved to the Indoor Indiana University Tennis Center in Bloomington.
