Eleven churches worked together last week to bake turkey breasts, pumpkin and cranberry cookies and stuffing muffins; they donated sliced bread, apples and paper bags, napkins and condiments, and then, on the eve of Thanksgiving, 28 people from the churches gathered at Corydon Christian Church to pack up these lunch bags that were then delivered to places such as the emergency services for the sheriff's department, CVS/pharmacy, Holiday Inn Express and gas stations for the workers at these places to bring them a bit of Thanksgiving cheer while they were working....more >>

Man dies in cave 'doing what he loved'November 26, 2013Timothy McLain, 49, of Brownsburg died while caving Saturday evening on private property near Corydon. Indiana Conservation Officer Jim Schreck said in a statement Sunday that authorities think the cause of death was a medical issue. An autopsy Monday confirmed that McLain died as a result of cardiac arrest.
